Developing Facilitation Guides and Evaluating Learning Programmes
This course builds participants’ skills in developing learning facilitation guidelines, as well as piloting and evaluating learning programmes for traditional face-to-face as well as online settings.

At the end of the course, the learner will be able to:
- Develop learning facilitation guidelines
- Ensure that guidelines provide facilitators with sufficient background information, learning outlines and assessment arrangements
- Develop guidelines that provide insights into learning design, methodology and strategy
- Ensure that guidelines identify resources, support materials, organisational requirments for implementation of learning programmes
- Set up pilot of the development in a manner that provides useful feedback on learning programmes
- Conduct evaluation of learning programmes in a systematic manner and in accordance with quality assurance requirements
This learning programme is intended for anyone who needs to develop learning programmes. The prerequisite for this course is successful completion of the ‘Planning and Developing Learning Materials and an Introduction to eLearning Authoring Software’ course. Participants should have a working knowledge of outcome-based education and training and are able to communicate in writing at NQF level 4.
